Description :
  • Accurately interpret and analyze permit requests, construction drawings, and supplemental documentation to ensure permit submittal requirements are met for a variety of permit types
  • Using various databases to analyze and understand complex inquiries and applications
  • Accessing GIS and County database for simple addressing review and assignment
  • Providing answers to general permitting questions and be able to explain overall permitting process
  • Returning calls and emails within established turnaround times and assuring applications and inquiries are correctly addressed and/or directed to the appropriate department Ensuring that all our customers are directed to appropriate bureau and city resources
  • Making independent decisions to provide the best customer experience for applicants when submitting permits through a variety of electronic portals

As a Customer Success Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and developing Customer Success program
  • Facilitating permit resolution between internal and external customers
  • Acting as a liaison between permit stakeholders and elected officials to mediate process related permitting problems
  • Providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with a diverse customer base to accurately interpret and analyze current permit projects
  • Working independently on assigned tasks and using best judgment and technical skill with various databases
  • Works collaboratively and responds to requests from the Empowered Communities Team and assists as a process manager for permits within the Empowered Communities Program.
  • Delivers equitable services and outcomes to the community by using a racial equity lens in the implementation of policies and procedures.
